How is Aurora different from the rest with this approach?
- We don’t offer inferior fabrics where petroleum by-products have been used in the manufacturing process. All our fabrics are ‘Greenguard’ certified.
- All our company-owned vehicles are electric.
- Our suppliers all have a very strong commitment to sustainability. This factor is a key decision maker for us in choosing who to work with.
- We work with local microforests. For every order we take, we plant a tree.
- As owners of the business, we believe the meetings we have with our supply chain can be done via videoconferencing. There isn’t a genuine need to jump on a business class flight interstate or overseas, wasting a lot of jet fuel, simply to have a meeting. This also keeps our overheads lower than the rest to pass pricing on to you.
- We choose superior quality products that make a big difference on your home’s energy bills. We don’t get tempted by thinner, cheaper products made overseas.
- We choose to work with local suppliers who don’t need to use unnecessary fuel to get products to us.
- We consolidated our supply chain, meaning we received less deliveries from less sources.
